This image is of the south end of Seaside Heights NJ in the 1940s. The card is postmarked Aug 28, 1948 and was sent to Mr. Mrs. Charles Koch 821 E Mitshel Driver Drive, Phoenix, Arizona. The card says “Dear Charles and Alice. It looks very nice and cool the other side of this card but it didnt best teh weather we ahd this wee. Northeast wind, and Rain Rain Rain. The thermometer is about 56 degrees and sometimes less. What weather for the shore this week. it is deserted and the rain still keeps on. Lots of Love, Mother”
