This card is postmarked Aug 21st 1943 and is addressed to Mrs. George Griffith in Flemington NJ. “Dear Mira- Am down at seaside for two weeks vacation with friends, having a lovely time. Hope you are feeling better by now. Take care of your self. Love you both. Elizabeth Gray”.
Dirkin’s Confectionary Store was located on the North West Corner of Boulevard and Hamilton Avenues in Seaside Heights. The building has long been demolished and replaced by a newer structure. Currently a Nightclub stands in its place.
